The Brunch Spread

A simple brunch spread provides the perfect base for a day of drinking on the lake to celebrate your bride-to-be.

For a bachelorette brunch, less is more. Let's be honest, a bunch of girls about to spend all day on the lake in swimsuits are not about to load up on your usual delicious brunch foods. A couple healthy options and a carb will totally suffice. PSA - don't leave out the carb option, and encourage even the most health-conscious girls to indulge in a croissant or two...everyone needs a base to soak up all of the booze. Pack a few leftover croissants in a ziplock bag to bring on the boat, you know... just in case.

A make-your-own yogurt bar is the perfect light beginning to a your day of bachelorette fun.

A make-your-own yogurt bar is the perfect light beginning to a your day of bachelorette fun.

I loved this idea for a yogurt-bar! Our planner guru/co-host for the weekend brought some fresh fruit, granola, greek yogurt and honey to get brunch started off right! That and her mimosa bar were key components to a fabulous bachelorette brunch!

Bachelorette Brunch Tip: Keep it simple. A yogurt bar, egg bake and some croissants are plenty for a group of girls about to spend the day on the lake.

Our full spread:

  • Yogurt Bar
  • Vegetarian Egg Bake (asparagus, tomatoes, spinach, peppers and cheese)
  • Croissants
  • Mojitos
  • Blueberry-Mint Water
  • Mimosa Bar
Mojitos and Blueberry-Mint infused water provide some refreshing drink alternatives to the mimosa bar.

For a bachelorette-worthy non-alcoholic drink, infuse water with frozen blueberries and fresh mint! The drink pours out as a bright pink/purple and when mixed with Sprite is the perfect sparkling bev for mom's to be and others who prefer to avoid alcohol. Leave out the Sprite and enjoy the lightly flavored water to re-hydrate post boat!

The Accessories

Every nautical themed bachelorette needs a captains hat and veil and matching sash.

The captain's hat and veil were a must for our bachelorette's day on the lake, but give our bride-to-be's pageant past, we just had to get the matching sash. You can get yours off Etsy here.  Get the cliché but necessary bride goblet off Amazon here (affil.).
