According to theweddingreport.com the average cost of a wedding in 2016 was $26,720 with invitations and stationary accounting for well over $800 of it! I don't know about you, but that seems pretty ridiculous to me. When we got married in 2015, we spent $110 on stationary and I'm here to tell you that you don't need to spend anywhere close to $800 either. I bought paper and envelopes on the cheap at Anchor Paper Express and printed them with the help of my mother-in-law. Even if you have to send out our designs to Vistaprint or another online vendor, you're still saving money over purchasing through the major Wedding Invite vendors. My suggestion? If you're looking to save money, price out printing at Office Depot or the UPS Store, print through them and trim down to size yourself.
