You guys. I can't hardly contain myself. IT'S THE MASTERS WEEKEND!!! I love golf and this weekend celebrates golf's greatest tradition which is plenty reason to party. I've put together my menu for Sunday's gathering and am excited to share our ideas and recipe links with you!

Now I know a lot of you are likely thinking you'd rather watch paint dry than watch golf. I'm here to encourage you to do a couple of things then:

  • First, give golf a chance - go take a few lessons and get out there and play this summer. It's a lifelong sport and a great way to get outdoors and spend time with friends and family.
  • Second, play in the PGA fantasy league. Golf's way more fun to watch when you have a pick you're rooting for or a wager against some friends and family members.
  • And finally, even if you don't like to watch golf, chances are your significant other or other friends and family members may, so just use this as a great excuse to get together, enjoy some good food and socialize!

Feel free to follow my Pinterest board to get easy access to the recipes right from your Pinterest App.  For my regular week-long meal plans, make sure you follow my other Pinterest Board, "This Week's Menu" to get the latest recipe links and menu ideas. I pin the recipes I plan on making for the week and then transfer them to my "Tried and True Recipe Box" or other appropriate board after the week ends.

Call it a stretch but we figured since The Masters Tournament is held in Augusta, Georgia every year, we'd go with a Southeastern Staple. These are delicious and so easy to make for a large crowd! Is it Sunday yet?! *Drool*

Easy to make a massive batch, our tortellini pasta salad is perfect for entertaining a large crowd. The fresh, crisp flavors couldn't be more fitting for a spring Masters party. Make the day before and let chill until party time.

Deviled Eggs

Freshen up the classic deviled eggs with avocado and jalapeno - did we mention there's NO mayo!?

While I love the classic, there are just so many variations on the deviled egg that take it to the next level! Try our recipe that appeases the mayo-haters out there and spices things up with jalapeno. A pimento-cheese & bacon version may also be in the works as it is The Masters tournament after all.

Veggie Wraps

Colorful, healthy and delicious! These veggie wraps couldn't be easier and are perfect bite sized snacks for any occasion.

Tasty, colorful and healthy, these easy veggie wraps come together quickly and are sure to be gone even faster! A guilt free, bite-size snack is the perfect finger food for our Masters party.

Marinated Cheese & Olives with Gluten Free Crackers & Pretzels

A Five Heart Home's recipe you can make ahead of time and let the flavors come together - it only gets better with time!

A Five Heart Home's recipe you can make ahead of time and let the flavors come together - it only gets better with time!

Check out the recipe on Five Heart Home's website, or see what else we often pair it with here! Colby jack, olives, salad dressing and herbs are all it takes for this cheese-bowl that goes perfectly with crackers and pretzels. We use Van's Gluten Free crackers and Snyder's Gluten Free Pretzels - you would never know they're gluten free!

Potato Chips

Not everything for your Masters Party needs to be home-made or even semi-home-made! You'll drive yourself crazy! Put out some potato chips and a store-bought dip. Always a crowd pleaser and an easy snack to graze on.

Brownies

Go ahead and make your favorite home-made brownie recipe, or do as I do, and use a boxed mix. Or better yet, save yourself the trouble and just go buy some dessert bites for your party - you've done enough already!

Beverages

I usually provide a flavored water - rosemary and cucumber or pineapple, but it's a-okay to make it a BYOB event. Everyone always asks what they can bring and many feel awkward going to a party empty handed, so let them help you out! You're providing more than enough food so simply explain that you'll have the food covered guests can BYOB or a beverage to share! If you feel weird about it, make it a competition - have a beer or wine tasting and provide a small prize for the winning entry. Have a mixology contest and see who comes up with the best cocktail! The possibilities are endless....
